If you’re still using the legacy versions of TrialPad (4.6.5), TranscriptPad (2.3.5), or DocReviewPad (1.5.10), now is the time to transition to the new LIT SUITE apps.
With iPadOS 26 on the horizon, there is a real risk that the legacy apps will no longer open or function at all. If that happens, you could lose access to your case data, and once it's gone, you won't be able to recover it.
We strongly recommend making the switch now. Your files and continued access are too important to leave to chance.
Some Context
When we introduced the LIT SUITE in January of 2021, the three legacy apps were removed from the App Store, which means they can no longer be updated. In the years since, the LIT SUITE has grown steadily: TrialPad, TranscriptPad, and DocReviewPad expanded to include ExhibitsPad, built as a digital exhibit binder, and later TimelinePad, designed for creating detailed case timelines. We've also brought the suite to Mac, so you can manage your cases across platforms, added free, on-device, video-to-transcript syncing in TranscriptPad, and launched a TranscriptPad iPhone app with AirPlay support. If you're still using one of the legacy apps, you're working in software that can no longer be updated, and you're missing out on the features and efficiencies that make the LIT SUITE a strong return on your investment.
